Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade and Street Party

For over 30 years the community of Mount Pleasant, and its surrounding districts, have come together on the first Saturday of December to celebrate the festive season with a Christmas Parade and Street Party in the main street of the town.

Local community groups and clubs, as well as businesses, are amongst the participants of the Christmas Parade, which starts at Talunga Park and heads to the heart of the town, stopping outside the Soldiers Memorial Hall.

The main street will be lined with markets stalls offering everything from crafts and gifts, through to food and drinks. There will be activities for the children, street performers, a variety of competitions, raffles, and if we are lucky, we may even get a visit from the jolly man in red.

Everyone – local or not, is welcome to join in, so please come along and enjoy a laid back, fun evening in the beautiful southern part of the Barossa Valley.
