Seppeltsfield Road Distillers invites you to explore the savoury side of gin with their Gin & Pickle Experience, a bold and flavour-driven tasting that celebrates tradition, creativity and Barossa food heritage.
This guided experience pairs four of their handcrafted gins with pickles and preserves from respected local producers including Zimmy’s Barossa Valley Produce, Stone Wall Kitchen, Krondorf Trading Co. and a historic peach chutney recipe from The House of Seppelt.
Designed as a deeper dive beyond a traditional tasting flight, this experience highlights how gin interacts with acidity, spice, sweetness and texture. Each pairing has been carefully selected to complement the botanicals and structure of the gin, creating moments of contrast, balance and surprise.
Guests will enjoy four 15ml gin serves, served with ice and tonic, alongside matched savoury accompaniments that showcase generations of Barossa preserving and pickling knowledge. From crisp and tangy to rich and layered, the experience offers a unique way to understand gin through food.
