Food photography workshop | Tasting Australia

Ever wanted to learn how to take an amazing food photo? Mark this one in your calendars.

This is an incredible opportunity for food enthusiasts who have an interest in photography to learn from award-winning food stylist and photographer Simon Bajada, who started his career in Adelaide before making his mark in Europe. During the six-hour photography workshops participants can choose between restaurant photography, produce, or nature. There will be an opportunity to shoot food in-studio, or travel for an outdoor shoot – weather permitting.

Learn the basic principles of food photography and develop practical skills, all while mingling with people who share a common interest. The experience is complete with a casual, snack-style lunch.

Participants to bring a digital SLR camera or high-quality mobile phone.

Sat 9 May – Start at the Barossa Farmer’s Market photographing food, followed by studio photography at Mirus Wonderground.

Sun 10 May – Learn how to photograph food in nature at Goolwa before going to The Australasian.

Tue 12 May – You’ll be photographing restaurant food at Chicco Palms.
