Whyalla Australia Day Picnic 2026

Start your Australia Day with some active fun before settling in for an afternoon of celebrations! The day begins with the Whyalla Australia Day 5 km Fun Run, hosted by the Whyalla Harriers, kicking off at 8:00am. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join this friendly community run.

Following the morning event, head to the Ada Ryan Gardens for the Australia Day Picnic, running from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Monday, 26 January 2026. Enjoy a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere with a variety of food and beverage stalls, local market stalls, and entertainment suitable for all ages.
