In August 2017 we opened The Distillery, our Distillery Door Tasting Room & Cocktail Bar. Housed in the Old Penfolds Distillery on the Provenance Barossa site in Nuriootpa, this location has a rich history of Distillation. It’s home to some of the oldest commercial stills in Australia, including a Coffey Still of which there are only three in the world.
The Distillery is a celebration of all things spirits, so naturally, we spend a a lot of time and effort creating some of the finest cocktails in the Barossa. We offer tasting paddles of our gins and cocktails, and if spirits aren’t your thing, we have local Barossa wines and beers from smaller producers. All available for you to enjoy in the historic bar or in our botanical garden seating area outside.
We offer food all day Friday – Sunday, from our neighbours Ember Pizza to enjoy in The Distillery.
