Located in the heart of Maranaga, Barossa Valley’s premium red wine neighbourhood, the Schubert Estate Wine Room is elegant and inviting. From the architecturally designed building to the breathtaking views across vineyards and native bushland, it’s a place to pause and absorb yourself in wine country.
Guests can enjoy a guided wine tasting experience sampling the full range of premium wines along with a complimentary sample platter, or find a spot to settle in and enjoy wine by the glass or bottle along with a generous platter featuring local Barossan produce.
OPEN Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11am – 4pm and Weekends by appointment.
Our History
The pioneering Schubert family planted vineyards in the Barossa Valley on their Roennfeldt Road estate in 1915. In 2000, a small parcel was retained, yielding a single barrel destined for the flagship wine – The Goose Yard Block Shiraz.
The goose, a symbol of courage, strength and adventure, sits proudly on every label of wine we make, guiding us through each step of our winemaking journey. We are inspired to create bold wines bearing the distinct flavours of our estate vineyards in the Barossa Valley sub-region, Marananga.
The Wine Room and Residence is located 261 Roennfeldt Road at Marananga in the Barossa Valley.
Open Wednesday – Sunday, 11am – 5pm, or by appointment.
