The Liebich family are proud to continue producing fortified wines, a winemaking tradition in Barossa Valley. Liebichwein offer a specialty range of fortifieds suitable for drinking now or topping up a home barrel for further ageing. Fortified wine blends range from one to 30 years old drawing from museum family barrels over 80 years old.
A fortified tasting is a truly memorable experience for anyone who likes the sweeter things in life. Select from a range of tasting experiences accompanied by a platter of artisan treats. This unique experience showcases wines straight from the barrel and allows you to sip and enjoy luscious flavours of marmalade, toffee, candied nuts, fruitcake and sweet spices.
Discovery of fortified experience shows how fortified from a single grape variety develops and become more complex due to the influence of time, oak and varietal characteristics.
Rare museum fortified experience showcases limited and rare wines aged over 25 years old from four different grape varieties; Muscat, Frontignac, Semillon and Grenache grapes. The ultimate in indulgent flavours.
