The Art of Wine School at Wonderground

Cooking Schools, Lessons, Workshops

At Wonderground and Mirus, wine education is an act of connection — to place, to people, and to the stories held within each glass. The intention is not simply to teach wine, but to cultivate lifelong lovers of wine and of this remarkable site.

Their full-day flagship experience pairs the internationally recognised WSET Level 1 Award in Wines with an immersive exploration of Mirus. Guests undertake the course and assessment as part of the experience, culminating in a private deep dive into the Mirus wine range. Certification is awarded by WSET upon successful completion.

For those seeking a deeper understanding of place, the Barossa Wine School — Regional Mastery experience offers an intimate exploration of the Barossa. Through benchmark tastings, vineyard walks and insight from owner-winemakers, guests uncover the heritage, terroir and defining wine styles of Australia’s most celebrated wine region, concluding with a private Mirus tasting.

At The Art of Wine School, education extends beyond the glass — fostering a lasting connection to land, craft and the enduring spirit of the Barossa.
