Visitor Information Centres
The Goolwa Visitor Information Centre is open daily from Monday to Sunday (7 days) from 10am – 4pm. We are available for enquiries by phone or email, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm. The friendly staff have a wealth of knowledge and are more than happy to share.
Located in the heart of Storm Boy Country, stocking a wide range of tourist information brochures for the Fleurieu Peninsula region as well brochures for all of South Australia.
They are a booking agent for local tours and cruises including the Paddle Steamer Oscar W, Coorong and Murray River cruising, as well as Kangaroo Island Sealink.
Facing the main street at the gateway to the historic Goolwa Wharf precinct. The centre promotes tourism services and experiences by providing professional information with specialist knowledge of Goolwa, the Alexandrina Council Region, Fleurieu Peninsula and beyond. Come and see them to help plan your stay in this beautiful region.
They have an extensive souvenir and gift shop stocking a good selection of books including: local, River Murray and Australian histories and stories, tee shirts and hoodies, children’s books and field guides, local and Australian made products, Storm Boy Books and DVD’s, local indigenous artist Cedric Varcoe “Better World Arts” gift ware and homeware, souvenirs, magnets, toys, local postcards and T-Towels.
