It is within easy travelling distance of the two main coastal towns of Burnie (a ten-minute drive) and Devonport (a 35-minute drive).
The accommodation looks down to the ocean where the earliest European settlers first came ashore. They used the “Black Rock” which can be seen clearly in the water at low tide as their landing jetty.
Black Rock Retreat offers intimate and private designer accommodation for up to four people with a full breakfast provided.
Lie in bed and admire the sunrise or watch the eagles ride the updrafts. Have a sip of Tasmanian wine in the spa to relax or enjoy some wellness therapy provided by a qualified remedial masseur.
