Quamby Estate

Farmstays

Quamby Estate is a 150-acre property offering a 10-guest room Homestead, Golf Course and Event Pavilion situated in Tasmania’s stunning Meander Valley, just 20 minutes from Launceston.

Quamby Estate was the ancestral home of the first Tasmanian-born Premier, Sir Richard Dry, and has been lovingly restored offering extensive entertaining areas, Ball Room, Dining Room, Drawing Room, and Library. Its charming Anglo-Indian designed architecture, period antiques and fireplaces, combine with modern luxuries to offer a cosy and quiet country getaway. Originally completed in 1828.

Whilst staying at the Estate, enjoy a walk down the original tree-lined laneway, explore by bike, or have a round of golf on the nine-hole course, in which Sir Richard Branson holds the Number 1 Membership.

The Homestead is available for whole-of-house hire only, sleeping up to 22 guests.
