A primarily local beach, popular for dog walks but be sure to check breeding seasons to make sure your pooch is not damaging nests of shorebirds. Sandpiper Beach is close to Coles Bay Conservation Area.
There are five access points to the beach – Meika Place, Oyster Bay Court, Hazards View Drive (Sandbar Drive) and Swanwick Drive.
