Additional days can be spent exploring a range of lake, river and stream options around Hobart, Launceston and the Central Highlands, allowing you to maximise your time on the water as well as hone your skills and learn different techniques with assistance from our fully qualified guides.
To make the most of your trip, they recommend bringing warm clothes, a hat and sunglasses, and a current Tasmanian angling license, which can be easily obtained through the Inland Fisheries Service. Personal fly fishing gear is optional — all essential equipment is provided — and most importantly, bring a sense of adventure and a desire to experience the raw beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness.
