Dorset Hotel is a 100-year-old hotel located in the world-famous mountain biking town of Derby, Tasmania, located 1 hour 20 minutes from Launceston.

The newly renovated accommodation consists of 6 twin rooms, one double room and two queen rooms with shared bathroom facilities. If you are after a bit more privacy, they also offer two ensuite queen rooms. All rooms include a continental breakfast daily. Mountain biking groups often book out the whole hotel.

Derby has a rich tin mining history with a local museum, local walks and drives to relics of the tin mining close by. There are also many waterfalls to explore nearby. They are an excellent halfway stopover if you are en route to the beautiful North East Coast from Launceston.
