Located in Gembrook, less than an hour from Melbourne’s City Centre, Gilwell Park Adventure Centre is one of Victoria’s largest and most iconic camp and outdoor education venues. Set across 460 acres of native bushland in the Dandenong Ranges, it offers accommodation, camping, adventure activities and scenic event spaces for schools, community groups, corporate retreats and private functions.
Guests can choose from lodges, bunkhouses, ensuite huts and bush campsites. The site features a bush chapel, dining facilities, accessible amenities and open spaces ideal for large or small groups. Adventure activities include canoeing, high ropes, archery, bouldering, bushcraft, team challenges and guided environmental programs, all delivered by trained staff.
Gilwell Park specialises in tailor-made outdoor education experiences, journey-style programs and hybrid camps that combine hardtop accommodation with hiking, navigation and survival skills. It is also a popular venue for weddings, community events and festivals, with the forest chapel and natural surrounds providing a unique backdrop.
