The lodge is within walking distance to Posh Plonk, the centre of Chiltern, and the train station.
With links to the wine industry, you’re nestled between three wine regions, with wineries 20 minutes away. Visit local wineries, then enjoy a glass (or two) back at Mortimer’s on the veranda or under the vine canopy. Perfect for relaxing breaks or for those who enjoy wine tasting, cycling, bird-watching, bush-walking, exploring history or just peaceful rural Australia.
Mortimer’s Lodge is located just a three-hour drive from Melbourne City Centre, two hours and 40 minutes from Melbourne Airport, and only 30 minutes from Albury Regional Airport. For cyclists, it is a short five minute ride from Chiltern’s train station. The lodge caters for cyclists, with secure bike rack, repair and cleaning stations on the property.
