Little Luscious Farm
Where To Stay Mirboo, South Gippsland, Victoria
Little Luscious Farm offers charming guest cottage accommodation, set amongst eleven acres of lush rolling green hills in Mirboo, South Gippsland, with stunning views to the coast. This is a sustainable start-up flower farm.
The farm abides by their own low dig, low waste, low cost philosophy, run by writer Natasha Wood and her husband Peter Wright, who believe that you can live a luscious life without it costing the earth.
Private farm tours are available, including morning or afternoon tea, as well as creative workshops, such as flower arranging, tablescaping, and gardening-on-a-budget. The Shearing Shed is available for hire to support writers, artists and musicians, including a large working space and piano.
In just two years, Natasha has established multiple Test Gardens for growing cut flowers, which are located around the white weatherboard farmhouse, built in 1939. With a focus on chemical-free no dig gardening, Natasha has engaged the local community using circular economy practices. This includes sourcing free and cheap materials such as seeds, plants, cardboard, fleece, compost and mulch for the Test Gardens, bricks and timber for raised garden beds, and furniture, china and linen to recycle and upcycle for the event and accommodation spaces.
Located an easy 10 minutes from the town of Mirboo North, car or bus transport is required, with unlimited car parking.
