Local Way Tours – Phillip Island Explorer

Air, Helicopter and Balloon Tours

Phillip Island Explorer by Local Way Tours is designed to make Phillip Island more than just a day trip—it’s about creating a true destination experience that encourages visitors to stay longer and discover more.

With a focus on comfort, sustainability, and authentic local connections, the Phillip Island Explorer brand offers three core travel experiences.

The Hop-On, Hop-Off Island Bus offers unlimited daily access to the island’s highlights, from iconic attractions to hidden gems, with the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Their direct Melbourne–Phillip Island Transfer is a seamless daily connection from Melbourne straight to island accommodations and attractions, opening the way for multi-day stays without the need for a car.

The Golden Hour Penguin Tour is a small-group evening experience that pairs the stunning light at The Nobbies with the world-famous Penguin Parade, where guests watch the little penguins waddle ashore.

By combining flexibility, convenience, and unforgettable encounters, the Phillip Island Explorer is shaping Phillip Island into a must-stay destination—not just a quick stop.
