The Mortimer Nature Walk is a short (1.2km) mostly flat nature walk looping through the Bunyip State Forest. The walk is close to a picnic area by the creek and is suitable for all abilities.
The terrain can be sandy/muddy at times. Toilets and a car park are nearby.
Keep an ear out for the Southern Boobook or look up into the leaves of the Mountain Grey Gum.
