Grampians Horseriding Centre

Grampians Horse Riding Centre offers a personalised trail riding experience for riders of all skill levels, from cautious beginners to confident and experienced horse lovers.

Located in the scenic Wartook Valley, just outside the Grampians National Park, the centre provides guided rides across private bushland, covering approximately 10 kilometres over two hours.

With a strong focus on safety, each ride begins with clear instruction and is tailored to suit the ability and comfort of each rider. Horses are thoughtfully matched to individuals, and the centre prioritises small group rides to ensure a relaxed, supported atmosphere. Riders aged between 12 and 55 are welcome.

All safety equipment is provided, including helmets, chaps and gloves, and guests are encouraged to wear long pants and sturdy shoes.

While beginners receive hands-on guidance throughout, more advanced riders can enjoy added challenges depending on their ability. The team’s experience, care and local knowledge allow guests to connect with both horse and landscape in an authentic, grounded way.

Grampians Horse Riding Centre operates seven days a week, and bookings are essential. It’s a chance to slow down, ride well, and enjoy the bush from a different perspective.
