Delatite Arm Reserve

National Parks and Reserves

The Delatite Arm Reserve, on the shores of Lake Eildon beside bushland, pine plantation and revegetated forest, is a three hour drive north east of Melbourne.

The reserve is popular for camping, water sports, scenic views and fishing. The extensive forests to the south and east also provide great opportunities for four wheel drive and trail bike exploration.

There are 28 separate campgrounds spread across the foreshore of the Delatite Arm Reserve, some of which are suitable for small caravans. Most camping areas have fireplaces and picnic tables, and some have wood-fired barbeques. However, you will need to bring your own wood and check fire bans before use. There is no water supply to the sites, so bring your own or be prepared to boil water from the lake before using.

There are no camping fees to use the campsites, but you cannot book or reserve your site. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In peak periods, camping sites may be unavailable, so have contingency plans in place for these busy times.

Toilets are provided at campsites for your convenience. Dogs are allowed within the reserve but must be under control at all times and are expected to be leashed or restrained.
