Mountain Bike Therapy Australia offer unique outdoor experiences in Central Victoria including mountain bike skills coaching, guided tours, adventure/outdoor therapy, on-bike counselling and nature arts therapy.
Individual, pairs, family and group sessions available for six years to older adults – for new to experienced riders.
Sessions range between two hours to whole day. Each session caters for individual needs and preferences – with additional emotional, mental, psychological, cultural support as required .
All the rides include intentional time for being grounded, aware and present in nature. The spectrum of therapeutic is broad but developing confidence, skills and having fun is key.
The focus is on gradual progression of fundamental mountain bike skills along with the additional support of having the support of an adventure/outdoor therapeutic practitioner and counsellor.
Locations including Walmer State Forest in Castlemaine, the Goldfields Track and Djuwang Baring Creswick Trails.

This is a mindful, grounded, slow, patient and compassionate ride for women and gender diverse adults. Led by a Cis-Gendered Woman, Natalya.
An opportunity to connect to country and community in a slow and steady way. Photo and snack breaks are a definite.
Everything is invitation only – opt out or say not today if you need to.
If you are chasing Strava times or training for an event this is not the ride for you. No break ways, no drop policy, no one is left behind.
Suitable for those who have ridden single track and are building confidence and skills with off road riding (not suitable for those who have not ridden off road). Ideal for mountain bikes.
Ride location involves green to blue style trails – a mixture of singletrack and gravel road
The duration is two hours, approximately 1.5 hours riding including on trail break time.
