Hidden within the green, rolling hills of the Strzelecki Ranges, the meandering Agnes River cascades from a 59 metre height over rocks into a deep picturesque gorge, forming Agnes Falls. Pack a picnic and birdwatch in this protected pocket of old forest and native bushland.

Grab the lead and round up your dog or lay out a blanket under tall eucalypts and enjoy your lunch as you listen to the rush of the nearby falls. Agnes Falls Scenic Reserve is home to diverse birdlife, such as honeyeaters, Grey Fantails, Currawongs, Crimson Rosellas and Kookaburras. Furry locals include wallabies and possums.

Agnes Falls Scenic Reserve is part of an Aboriginal cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Gunaikurnai Peoples.
