Open Studios West Gippsland

As one of the first Open Studio events in Victoria, Open Studios West Gippsland has maintained its reputation of cultural excellence.

As you tour this beautiful rural area, your senses will be anticipating finding the next distinctive flag which signals you have arrived at the next studio, with their artists welcoming visitors to share their passions.

Each studio and each artist is vastly different from the others making your weekend full of surprises. Most are not generally open to the public but are well prepared to reveal the secrets of their creative thought.

You will experience demonstrations, and work in progress, and hear stories about inspirations, techniques, unfinished projects and plans for the future.

The mix of participating artists is different every year, you may experience realist or abstract painters, printmakers, ceramicists, jewellers, and sculptors; all offer the same passion to their exacting professional standards.
