The Vietnamese Tet Lunar Festival is the centrepiece of Vietnamese cultural life. For fifty years, Vietnamese Tet Lunar Festival in Western Region and South Eastern Region has been celebrated as an inclusive festival, recognising its importance to the Chinese, Thai, Cambodian, Lao, and other Australian-Asian communities.
The festival celebrates the cultural contribution that the Vietnamese community has made to Victoria. It is an inclusive event that also celebrates other Far Eastern communities and the close co-operation with other multicultural communities.
