Celebrate the festive season with Seasonal Scents: Yule, a special holiday edition of the much-loved, immersive workshop series in collaboration with Greek-Australian fragrance house Thematikos.
Set in the beautiful surrounds of the Hellenic Museum, this unique experience blends history with hands-on craft, beginning with a historian’s introduction to traditions surrounding candles, fragrance and seasonal rituals in ancient Greek life.
With your historical grounding in place, artisans from Thematikos will then guide you through the process of creating your own full-sized scented soy candle. Select your vessel, place your wick, blend your signature scent from a selection of holiday-inspired fragrances, then mix and hand-pour your wax before finally naming and labelling your bespoke creation, creating the perfect to gift or keep.
