Book Doof: Social Reading Event

Book Doof is a social reading event that brings people together to read in some of Melbourne’s most atmospheric venues. Part book club, part ambient hangout, it offers a relaxed alternative to traditional nightlife.

There’s no assigned reading and no pressure to participate, just bring a book (or anything you want to read) and settle into a shared space with low lighting, ambient music and a like-minded crowd.

Unlike a typical book club in Melbourne, Book Doof focuses on quiet connection. Spend time reading solo, or join optional, low-pressure social moments towards the end of the session.

This special Book Doof event at Revolver Upstairs in Prahran is also a fundraiser supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
