Winter is quietly creeping into Naarm/Melbourne. The days are growing shorter, the air is crisp and the city is pulling on its cosiest jumper.

Come and spend the afternoon in the magnificent Oratory at Abbotsford Convent, at this little festival celebrating beautiful, dreamy music.

Warm Mids Afternoon is a chance to experience music in a way that feels more like a waking dream than a night out. This isn’t your standard gig. No stiff-backed seats, no standing awkwardly with a drink in your hand. We want you to sink in, spread out, and get truly horizontal if the mood takes you. Bring cushions, blankets, pillows, a book or a craft project. Build yourself a little nest and let the music carry you somewhere soft and far away.

A small allocation of sliding scale tickets also available for those in need.

Kids under four are free. As it’s a relaxing event, parents are asked to keep other attendees in mind. Luckily the Convent has so many lovely spaces to explore if littler people need to get out and move their bodies.
