The Billy Button name belongs to the native yellow flowers that colour the mountain tops of the Alpine Valleys. Known for the classic wine styles, but also consistently pushing the boundaries with tiny parcels of alternative varietals, Billy Button dares to venture where others simply wouldn’t.
After extensive and highly regarded careers working in the industry, winemaker Jo Marsh launched Billy Button Wines in 2014 and was joined in 2015 by her winemaker husband Glenn James. Specific parcels of fruit are sourced from select vineyards across the region, mainly within the Alpine Valleys.
Located in the heart of Bright, the Billy Button Cellar Door offers visitors the opportunity to taste the full range of award-winning Billy Button Wines, along with a local produce deli, with cheese and small goods. There’s something new for even the most discerning of wine palates to explore.
