Wineries

Barwon Ridge Wines is a small family vineyard in the Barrabool Hills just ten minutes west of Geelong. Their objective is to produce fine Geelong wines through the growing of premium grapes and the production of quality hand crafted wines.

Barwon Ridge produce award winning pinot noir, shiraz, marsanne, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, sparkling, cabernet/shiraz and fortified shiraz. All of Barwon Ridge wines are vegan.

They have an intimate tasting room, club lounge and beautiful native gardens to relax in. Children and dogs are welcome.

In 2022 the cellar door won a Gourmet Traveller award in Australia’s Best Cellar Door Awards and in 2023 Barwon Ridge was the first vineyard in Geelong to achieve the internationally recognised sustainability certification from Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.

With reforestation on the property, the wildlife is returning.
