Located in St Johns Brook Conservation Park, Workmans Pool Campground is situated close to picturesque river pools, making it a favourite for swimming and picnicking.
The park has a fascinating saw-milling history from the early last century that is still evident today around Barrabup Pool and along the Old Timberline Trail – a track that can be enjoyed on foot or bike.
Workmans Pool is a small campground in jarrah-marri forest about one kilometre from Barrabup Pool.
Bookings are essential and can be made up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival and for one campsite only.
There are six campsites which are suitable for tents and swags only and have steps between the tent and parking spaces. Please note some campsites are subject to standing water after heavy rain.
All campsites have a picnic table and benches and a fire ring and there are no-flush pit toilets.
Services
Workmans Pool campground itself includes designated campsite bays, some of which are accessible to small vans.
The campground is well-appointed and provides long-drop toilets, shaded picnic/camping area, picnic facilities and wood barbecues.
Campfires are permitted in certain seasons. Bring your own firewood.
Campers are advised to bring enough drinking water for the duration of their stay.
Bookings cannot be made.
