Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary
Things To Do Cable Beach, Broome, Western Australia
The Buddha Sanctuary in Broome, WA offers daily yoga and a place for quiet reflection in the meditation garden. Built in 2003, the Buddha Sanctuary was created for the local community as a space for inner peace and stillness, through spiritual practise.
While they don’t favour one religion, the Sanctuary is home to a 3-metre-tall calcite Buddha Guan Yin statue which anchors loving energy, and harnesses unconditional love and compassion – qualities strongly connected to this deity.
Today, the Sanctuary has become one of Broome’s main yoga hubs and meeting points, where like minds and hearts come together to be still, be aware, let go and simply flow!
The Sanctuary is open to visitors daily and offers daily yoga with highly experienced (and super lovely!) yoga instructors.
