Wellington National Park

National Parks and Reserves

From the moment you arrive your senses will come alive with the sight and smell of native trees. This park is covered by 25,000 hectares of ancient jarrah, marri and blackbutt forest.

The Collie River cuts through the Collie River Valley and has carved out many scenic spots where you can picnic, swim, canoe, and fish.

See the largest dam mural painting in the world at Wellington Dam. It was painted by artist Guido Van Helten and the sheer size of it will blow you away.

Spring is a great time to visit for colourful wildflowers and to see the river flowing. There are lots of native animals here and you might be lucky enough to see chuditch, quenda, quokka, brushtail possum and woylie.

Choose your own adventure and explore one of the many hiking trails or the awesome network of mountain bike trails. Check out the Adventure Connections Tours and Hire Hub located in the park for bike and kayak hire, tours, visitor info and more.

Book your campsite at one of the campgrounds so you can stay a little longer.
