Ningaloo Discovery invites you to explore the pristine beauty of the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef, situated just off Exmouth in Western Australia. Specialising in unforgettable marine adventures, they offer full-day Whale Shark Swim Tours, allowing guests to swim alongside the world’s largest fish. From August through November, visitors can also embark on full-day Humpback Whale tours, a unique opportunity to witness these majestic giants as they migrate past the Ningaloo Reef on Australia’s Coral Coast.
Operating daily, Ningaloo Discovery provides these experiences aboard two exceptional vessels—a 60-foot luxury sailing catamaran and a 56-foot powerboat—both designed for comfort and adventure. For a more leisurely experience, they offer two-hour Sunset Sail Cruises in the serene waters of the Exmouth Gulf. These cruises run approximately from April through November and include a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a delicious nibbles platter, and the chance to spot whales in the stunning backdrop of a golden sunset.

Services
Design your own charter to spend all your time doing what you want to do – be it two hours or 20 days. Spend a day sailing around the spectacular Ningaloo coastline or have a few nights at various locations around Ningaloo Reef and enjoy sailing the turquoise blue waters, spectacular snorkelling, swimming with marine animals such as whale sharks and humpback whales, going for a boom net ride or maybe just relax on a sunny day on the trampolines. It’s up to you.
Windcheetah has all the toys you need for a memorable trip – including snorkel gear, a stand-up paddleboard, and glass-bottom kayaks as well as local crew who know the area inside out. Windcheetah can take 48 passengers for a day sail and sleep eight for overnight trips.
Windcheetah is perfect for family get-togethers – spend a weekend hanging out with the kids, kayaking around the endless lagoons and beaches, snorkelling with marine life, kicking back in a bean bag with a good book or simply enjoying the serenity of the setting sun over the Indian Ocean and relaxing far away from the sounds of traffic.

On Ningaloo Discovery’s Whale Shark Tours, you can snorkel with whale sharks, interact with manta rays, and encounter dugongs, turtles, humpback whales, dolphins, and amazing colourful tropical fish and coral in the Ningaloo Reef just off Exmouth. Swimming with a whale shark is an unforgettable experience!
The Coral Coast of Western Australia is home to an abundance of unique wildlife, national parks and reefs ready to be explored. Ningaloo Discovery operates boat cruises and sailing cruises around the Ningaloo Reef, as well as specialising in whale shark snorkel tours.
All equipment is provided on board for the whale shark tour, including snorkelling equipment and tour guides who are very knowledgeable and passionate about whale sharks. The clear waters and visibility of the North West make for perfect conditions to swim with a whale shark as the whale shark cruises just below the surface, allowing snorkellers to swim alongside this magnificent creature.

Ningaloo Discovery offers guests a Humpback Whale experience on board a very stable, spacious 60ft luxury powerboat, which provides a 360-degree viewing platform and the opportunity to lounge and relax on the comfortable day bed, flybridge couches and various seating spots while soaking up and enjoying the beauty of the Ningaloo Marine Park and all the amazing wildlife we may encounter. With the use of our very own spotter plane, our pilot will direct us to pods of whales and any other marine life spotted from above.
Swimming with a Humpback Whale in their natural environment is an extraordinary life-changing experience, one not to be taken for granted, and as such is conducted with the utmost respect to the whales. Each day presents a unique experience, and some whales are more interactive than others. Humpback Whales are often inquisitive creatures and it is quite possible they will seek interaction with humans and swim close to us.

Come and join a spectacular sundowner in the Exmouth Gulf! Enjoy a couple of hours coasting along under sail on board the luxury stable 60 feet sailing catamaran. They supply a glass of sparkling wine and nibbles and feel free to BYO additional beverages on board.
Cool off with an exhilarating ride in the famous cargo net, then kick back and lounge around on the trampolines, daybeds or beanbags and take in the serenity or if you have the energy to burn get involved with hoisting and trimming the sails. Watch the colours of the afternoon and evening unfold with the spectacular Nor’ west Cape and Exmouth Gulf as your backdrop.
In season, you can also observe the majestic humpback whales as they rest and cruise through the Exmouth Gulf.
