Join them for the adventure of a lifetime as you explore the world’s longest and most historical stock route. Built in 1910, the route begins in Halls Creek and extends all the way south to Wiluna in the mid-west.
Over 18 days, cover approximately 1850kms, crossing 3 deserts, the Tanami, Great Sandy and Gibson, over 900 sand dunes and experience an ever changing, extremely isolated outback landscape, from rocky station country, barren spinifex covered deserts, dry creek beds and huge salt pans, topped off by massive valleys, rocky lookouts and natural springs and waterholes. The ultimate test for both driver and vehicle.
On tour you will get to experience all 51 of the wells where accessible, from the beautifully restored working wells to the totally dry and derelict. Along the path, see an array of different bird life, camels, dingos, emus, kangaroos and possibly even a thorny devil. For the nature lovers, there is a landscape of forever changing flora and fauna. You will also get to explore the many aboriginal art sites along the way.
