Opened in 2024, Boorloo Bridge is Perth’s newest landmark and the largest single-sided cable bridge in the world. Crossing the Swan River from Victoria Park, via Heirisson Island, to Perth’s CBD at Point Fraser, this striking structure offers a scenic and safe route for walking, cycling and wheeling.

Named after Boorloo, the Noongar name for Perth, the bridge celebrates Whadjuk Noongar culture through its design and storytelling. Its sweeping curves evoke the Wagyl, the rainbow serpent, while towering pylons shaped like a boomerang and a digging stick rise dramatically against the skyline. Along the way, visitors can discover Aboriginal art pieces that share living stories and connections to Country.

As night falls, Boorloo Bridge transforms into a luminous spectacle. More than 17,000 LED lights create vibrant displays of colour and movement, illuminating the river and city in a breath-taking nightly show until midnight.
