Capture the Light Photographic Tours
Things To Do Gidgegannup, Swan, Western Australia
Capture the Light Photographic Tours is a West Australian company with years of experience running small-group photographic, private and custom tours to a variety of destinations.
The tours are designed for photographers, by photographers who understand the need to take time to get that Shot. The tours range from half a day to up to two weeks long to some of Western Australia’s lesser-known and more iconic destinations. We can customise a tour to suit a client’s needs.
Destinations include Wave Rock and Numbang National Park (pinnacles). They run wildflower tours during Winter and Spring and know many locations where the flowers grow. We will be running a photographic tours 2028 to the Kimberley to coincide with the total solar eclipse.
Each tour is led by formally trained professional fine art photographer, Anna-Mair Francis, who is a highly regarded photographer who has sold images to clients in many different countries. She is a highly acclaimed teacher, having helped hundreds of clients improve their photography and develop a better understanding of their cameras. Her tours have a personal touch that will ensure your trip is an experience you will never forget, with photos that you will treasure for a lifetime.
All tours are inclusive of photographic input, fees, entry fees, most meals and accommodation for overnight tours. All levels of photographers and cameras are welcome.

Apart from some amazing landscapes we are likely to see kangaroo, koala and various birds in Yanchep as well as some wildflowers in the Spring. We will stop at an amazing sand dune sculptured by the wind before we head to the Nambung Desert to walk amongst the other worldly pinnacles before watching the sunset amongst the limestone formations. If our tour coincides with a dark sky night then we can change the itinerary to include astro photography.
