The 12‑Night Spirit of the Kimberley – Pinnacle Journey is a privately guided, in‑depth exploration of Western Australia’s Kimberley region, operating during the dry season from mid‑May to October. Departing from either Broome or Kununurra, the journey is designed for small private groups and showcases many of the Kimberley’s most iconic landscapes and waterways, travelling primarily by 4WD with an experienced local guide.

Over 12 nights, guests experience highlights including Windjana Gorge, Bell Gorge, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge and El Questro Wilderness Park, with opportunities for guided walks, swimming in natural waterholes, and viewing ancient rock art and fossilised reef systems. The itinerary also includes cruising on Lake Argyle and the Ord River, offering a different perspective on the region’s vast waterways and wildlife.

Accommodation is provided in a mix of hotels, wilderness lodges, homesteads and safari‑style cabins, with no camping involved. National park fees, accommodation and guided experiences are included, while meals, alcohol and flights are not. The 9 Night Spirit of the Gibb is a fully accommodated, small‑group 4WD journey along the iconic Gibb River Road, travelling one‑way between Broome and Kununurra (or reverse) during the Kimberley dry season. Designed for comfort without camping, the tour stays in a mix of resorts, wilderness lodges, stations and safari‑style cabins.

Highlights include a guided cruise through Geikie Gorge with a local ranger, exploration of Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge, and swimming at some of the Kimberley’s most celebrated waterfalls and gorges such as Bell Gorge, Galvans Gorge and Manning Gorge. Guests experience remote cattle stations including Mt Elizabeth and Ellenbrae, before continuing east to Home Valley Station and the dramatic Pentecost River crossing.

The journey concludes in the East Kimberley with time at El Questro Wilderness Park, known for its waterfalls, thermal springs and rugged escarpments. Throughout the tour, guests travel with an experienced local guide who shares insights into Kimberley landscapes, wildlife and cultural history. The 8 Night Spirit of the East Kimberley is a fully accommodated small group 4WD journey showcasing the highlights of Western Australia’s East Kimberley, departing from Kununurra during the dry season. Designed to minimise long travel days, the itinerary focuses on regions where natural icons sit close together, allowing more time to explore and relax.

The tour includes extensive exploration of El Questro Wilderness Park, with visits to Zebedee Thermal Springs, El Questro Gorge, Emma Gorge and a range of swimming holes and short walks suitable for varying fitness levels. Guests travel sections of the iconic Gibb River Road, including the dramatic Pentecost River crossing, and enjoy a stay at Home Valley Station, known for its sweeping ranges and relaxed outback atmosphere.

The journey continues to Lake Argyle, Australia’s largest man made lake, where guests take in vast freshwater landscapes and elevated viewpoints, including time at the renowned infinity pool overlooking the lake. Experiences along the Ord River provide further opportunities for wildlife viewing and scenic cruising.
