Lotterywest Films Perth Festival

Over 18 balmy weeks beneath the Somerville pines, Lotterywest Films presents a hand-picked lineup of Cannes-laurelled adventures, pulse-quickening thrillers, eye-opening documentaries, spicy rom-coms and emotion-soaked dramas.

The weekly showcases, along with extra special one-off screenings, will turn each night under the stars into the summer ritual that has been at the heart of Perth Festival since 1953.

The 2026 program features the very best of international cinema from major festivals, offering something to excite, inspire, shock, entertain, move and amuse every film lover. Gather a group or come solo to relax on the lawn with a picnic, or enjoy a freshly made pizza from Charlies.

Door sales open nightly from 6pm, and all picnickers must be seated by 8pm.

Lotterywest Films is part of Perth Festival, one of Western Australia’s premier summer cultural traditions.
