Deep Woods Estate was established in 1987 and the first vines were planted on the estate that same year.
In some interesting pop culture history, the original founders were avid Phantom fans, naming the winery from a popular comic location and designing the logo based on the Phantom ring.
In 2005 Deep Woods Estate was acquired by the Fogarty family, bring it under the ownership of the Fogarty Wine Group. Under the Fogarty Wine Group banner, Deep Woods Estate has been transformed into one of Margaret River’s most awarded and highly regarded wineries.
