The Stirling Arms

Bars

The Stirling Arms Hotel is located in the heart of historic Guildford in Western Australia close to Perth’s wine and food region, the Swan Valley. Only a 25 minute drive from Perth CBD, and a short stroll from Guildford train station.

Established in 1852, this iconic Western Australian pub is one of the state’s oldest – proudly independently owned. Steeped in local history. Originally built with ticket-of-leave convict labour, the building has evolved over 170 years into a vibrant community hub. Renovations over time have embraced 1920s Art Deco flair, blending classic glamour with contemporary style.

Dine in the Prohibition Bistro, where woodfired pizzas and elevated pub classics are served daily for lunch and dinner. Unwind in the heritage 1852 Lounge Bar or enjoy alfresco drinks and meals in the modern Lot 142 Beer Garden. The hotel also offers stylish accommodation and there are versatile function spaces with no hire fees—perfect for events big or small.

There’s always something happening – live music, tribute shows, themed trivia, comedy, bingo nights, school holiday fun, and more. The Stirling Arms is all about bringing people together.

There is also on-site bottle shop, open daily.
