Learmonth Airport provides a gateway to Heritage Listed Ningaloo Marine Park – home of the whale shark – a must-do experience in the Coral Coast of Western Australia. The terminal which opened in December 1999 has won a number of Royal Australian Institute of Architects awards for its innovative design which represents the coral reef.

It is situated approximately 36 kilometres South of Exmouth and 120km North of Coral Bay and services Qantas passenger aircraft as well as helicopter operators supporting off-shore oil and gas operations.

A café and bar operates at Learmonth Airport, operating hours are around aircraft arrivals and departures.

Airport car parking is free of charge, with taxis costing approximately $50 to Exmouth town centre. Exmouth Bus Charter operates airport transfers between the town of Exmouth and the airport and other key locations in Exmouth and bookings can be made by calling +61 8 9949 4623.

Passengers are reminded to please be at the airport one hour prior to departure. Check-in and baggage acceptance closes 40 minutes prior to departure.
