120 mountain acres set in the magical Wombeyan Caves area, 20 minutes away from the very popular Wombeyan Caves and campground. Magnificent 270 degree views with many high vantage points. Incredibly private and secluded and perfect for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of wildlife (Kangaroos, Wallabies, Lace Monitors, Koalas, variety of birds such as the resident Wedge Tail Eagles. There is an outdoor hot shower over a big cast iron bathtub and a very basic flushing bush toilet. There is not much flat land so this stay is more to relax, unwind around a fire and soak in the peace. Taralga is 30 minutes away. NOTE: There is 15km of quite remote dirt road that is quite rough in some spots. Low cars not recommended. 2WD vehicles ok unless heavy rain. Campfires permitted in a designated areas when restrictions aren’t in place. Dogs welcome. No loud music as it carries through the valley and we get reported. 🙁 Final Notes: It can get ferociously windy! Please check wind forecast before booking in to avoid disappointment.
