Thornbrook Orchard is a third-generation family-run orchard that has been growing fruit on the rich volcanic soils of Mt Canobolas since the orchard was established in 1947.
Over the years, the orchard operations have changed and it is now renowned for its “Pick your own cherries”. The cherry season, in early summer, sees the orchard opened to the public and visitors are welcomed to come and enjoy the experience of picking their own cherries straight from the tree. Once picked the fresh, ripe cherries are packed up ready to be taken home to enjoy with friends and family.
If picking is not for you, don’t worry you will not miss out. During the cherry season, the farm gate is open to purchase prepacked cherries.
Coaches, tours and school groups are welcome by appointment.
