Saltwater and Wallabi Point Beaches

National Parks and Reserves

The adjacent beaches of Saltwater Beach and Wallabi Point Beach are separated by Saltwater Point within Saltwater National Park.

These beaches, just south of Old Bar, are perfect for surfing enthusiasts and attract thousands of tourists every year who are in search of the perfect wave.

These beaches are also great for families as there is a warm, shallow saltwater lagoon nestled against the picnic reserve, providing excellent swimming opportunities in Khappinghat Creek.

For those with a love of fishing, you won’t be disappointed as there is a direct ocean boat launch in this area.
