This magnificent River Red Gum is one of the largest in the Riverina, measuring 11.6 metres in circumference.

The Big Tree is a Meeting Place and is considered culturally significant by Traditional Indigenous owners. The age of the tree is estimated to be between 500 years and 1000 years.

As part of the Moulamein River Walk, keep an eye out for a diverse range of local wildlife such as kangaroos, emus, goannas, cockatoos, kookaburras and Bush Stone curlews to name a few. Follow the river and read the storyboards depicting the region’s rich history and environment.
