The magnificent old bascule bridge can be seen at Darlington Point Caravan Park’s entrance. Its former home was across the Murrumbidgee River, replacing an earlier punt before being replaced by a new bridge in the 1970s.
It now welcomes visitors and provides a great connection with the town’s history. It is certainly photo-snap-worthy on your travels.
