Welcome to Arc-En-Ciel Trout Farm, a family-run destination nestled in the cool mountain air of Hanging Rock, near Nundle in New South Wales. Since 2006, it has been proudly owned and operated the farm, which was first established in the mid-1980s. Today, it continues to raise premium rainbow trout in pristine spring-fed waters, produce award-winning products, and share the beauty of the farm with visitors from near and far.

Arc-En-Ciel Farm Tour

A guided tour of their hatchery and grow-out facility. This involves a short, scenic walk to the Hatchery area. Closed walking shoes are recommended and warm clothing during the cooler
months. The farm is on an elevation of 1100m so the climate is very different from Nundle or Tamworth. A moderate level of fitness is required to walk to the Hatchery. The walk is on
undulating ground and includes some steeper parts. If you feel it’s too much, a car can be arrange to drive you there and back.
