Green Connect Farm

Agri, Mining and Industry

Just 13 minutes’ drive south of Wollongong centre you’ll discover the Green Connect Farm. On the beautiful 11-acre farm, they use permaculture and organic principles to produce abundant harvests of fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs, honey and free-range meat.

Green Connect hosts visitors to the farm for a range of fun and educational activities. They run a weekly farm playgroup (Farm Kindy) for kids aged six months to six years, Farm Play Days for kids aged six months to 12 years, and seasonal public farm tours. They also host school field trips, private tours of the farm, and corporate volunteering days.

Activities involve opportunities to play in nature, learn about food production and meet the free-range sheep, pigs, goats and chickens. Each event at Green Connect is a chance to get messy, immerse yourself in nature, and discover the incredible potential of urban food production.
