A gentle, picturesque drive along a sealed road, only 7 kms from the quaint township of Amamoor, (destination for the renowned “Mary Valley Rattler” steam engine), brings you to the idlic “Amamoor Creek Camping Retreat”; A country camping retreat set on 100 plus special, private acres, of ancient remnant forests to lush creek flats, with easily accessed campground areas, adjacent to the permanent and private mountain creek, that meanders through the property, and is home to various fish species and its own family of platypus.
